MAKE A GIFT

hero of hope monthly donor

Fight child abuse without ever writing another check by joining our Heroes of Hope monthly donor program. Signing up is easy! Simply choose the option for reoccurring monthly when completing the online donation form.

CARE4KIDS donations

From back to school clothes to toiletry items and birthday presents, children in state care often lack many of the items that other children consider to be standard. Donations to this fund are kept separate from all other CASA finances and are distributed directly to the children as needs are identified. To donate to Care4Kids, complete the online donation form.

corporate Matching Gifts

Many employers have matching gift programs, which match your donation dollar for dollar or match your volunteer hours served with a direct monetary donation to CASA. Matching gift programs empower donors to give both their time and money towards a good cause. Check with your Human Resources department to see if a matching gift program exists at your workplace.

HONORARIUM and MEMORIAM

Honor a friend or loved one with a donation to CASA in their name. These special gifts provide an opportunity to remember or pay tribute to individuals as well as recognize special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries or holidays. Contributions can be made by completing the Honorarium/Memorial Donation Form or mailed to:

bequests and PLANNED GIVING

You provide critical advocacy for vulnerable children for years to come through planned giving. Consider making a planned gift that includes CASA as a beneficiary. More than just wills and estates, planned gifts can help you accomplish a tax benefit now but will be paid in the future.

Following is a list of the most often used planned giving opportunities:

  • Outright Bequests
  • Charitable Gift Annuities
  • Charitable Lead Trust
  • Life Insurance Policy

Please discuss planned giving opportunities with your financial or estate planning professional. If you have questions about the types of gifts CASA of Denton County accepts, contact Heather Johnson at 940-243-2272 ext. 112 or by email.

IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS

We lack storage space and must prioritize the operation of our advocacy program, so CASA will accept, store, and distribute only a very few in-kind items each year, and only for specific needs. Our advocate volunteers know their assigned children well and can ensure that their specific needs are met and their wishes fulfilled on the holidays, birthdays, and other special occasions while they are in substitute care. Please consider donating gift cards so our volunteer can choose exactly what their assigned child might want or need. Gift cards to Target, Walmart, Amazon, or Visa/Mastercard gift cards in denominations from $25-$100 are preferred.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss your ideas regarding fundraising and community awareness activities to benefit CASA. Contact Heather Johnson, Development Director, at 940.243.2272 or by email.
