ARE YOU CASA STRONG?

CASA is looking for a few good men.

In 2019, CASA of Denton County was a powerful voice for 615 children removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. We provided these vulnerable kids with a trained, caring volunteer Advocate. While more than 50% of those children were boys, only 24% of current Advocates are men. Children in foster care, especially boys, need men of Denton County to stand with them. Younger boys in the child welfare system rarely see healthy male role models who can help make sure their needs are met and their voice is heard. Teenage boys frequently age out of the foster care system without finding permanent homes or family connections that will help them become productive adults. Give some of your time to break these cycles.
