CASA of Denton County hosts many events each year, including two large fundraisers that each have over 20 years of history – our Pulling for Kids sporting clay tournament in the spring, and our multi-course gala dinner, Evening of Elegance in the fall, with special guest servers, many elected officials of Denton County. Watch our website for more about each of these activities. In 2025, we introduced a new event: Handbags for Hope, a bingo event with fabulous designer handbag prizes. April is a busy month for events each year as we recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month, and May brings the celebration of CASA Volunteer’s Day to honor and recognize the service of our 200-plus trained court advocates. Each September, we participate in North Texas Giving Day with other nonprofit agencies across the community, and in October we will host a parking lot fundraiser during the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival at Quakertown Park.
